TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions are incorporated into all bookings (whether made online, by email, phone or any other method) and all agreements for the provision of services by BOAQUARIUS.

THE OWNER
BOAQUARIUS is registered in Belgium under registration number BTW 0829.965.355. The registered address is Grote Nieuwedijkstraat 82, 2800 Mechelen, Belgium. Further on “we” or "Bo" means BOAQUARIUS.

THE CLIENT
The client is understood to be a person over the age of 18 or a minor with written parental consent, who contracts with BOAQUARIUS for the provision of the services. BOAQUARIUS reserves the right to check that the client meets the necessary requirements to contract and if not, to refrain from providing the service. Further on "the client" might be referred to as "you".

THE SERVICES
The services are understood to be any services provided to the client by BOAQUARIUS.

APPOINTMENTS
Scheduled appointments will take place between the hours of 9am and 6pm Monday to Saturday. Exceptionally, Sunday appointments can be booked at an extra fee (which is 150% of the standard price). No refund will be made for appointments shortened at your request.

BOOKINGS
All bookings should be made at least 1 week in advance to avoid disappointment. If need, a last-minute booking could be made 48 hours in advance at an extra fee (which is 150% of the standard price). To book an appointment fill out the online form for the service you require, email bo@boaquarius.com or call 0488482198. All fees are due in full before the start of an appointment unless otherwise arranged.

PAYMENT
Payments for the services and gift vouchers are to be made via bank transfer upon receipt of the invoice. All invoices should be paid within 7 days of receipt unless agreed otherwise beforehand. The payment details will appear on the invoice. The payment for the gift voucher bought directly on the website is made with PayPal. Payment for gift vouchers and appointments must be made upon purchase/booking.

TRAVEL EXPENSES
Additional travel costs of €0,5/km apply for the return journey from 2800 Mechelen to the shopping destination and/or client’s house. Eventual car parking fees are charged as a cost to the client. 

RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS
If the client wishes to reschedule or postpone an appointment he/she must give BOAQUARIUS no less than 7 days' notice before the scheduled time. If the client requests rescheduling with less than 7 days' notice the admin fee of €50 will be applied.
The client has the possibility to reschedule an appointment as per the conditions mentioned. If we can agree on an alternative future date the booking payment will be transferred to the rescheduled appointment but cannot be refunded.
In case of 2 failed rescheduling attempts, BOAQUARIUS reserves the right to cancel the booking and charge the fee of 50% of the booking.
If BOAQUARIUS, unfortunately, is unable to make the appointment, the appointment will be rescheduled. If the client is unable to find a new suitable date for the appointment, he/she will receive a full refund of the booking within 1 week.

GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift Vouchers are valid Monday to Saturday for 6 months from the date of purchase. Exceptionally this period can be extended in some circumstances, such as pregnancy or serious illness.
The recipient of the gift voucher will need to contact BOAQUARIUS to arrange the appointment. The recipient of the gift voucher (unless a minor) is the person that BOAQUARIUS has a relationship with. Any information shared between the recipient and the stylist will not be shared without the recipient's consent.
Travel expenses are added to the price of the gift voucher and need to be paid together with the voucher. If the voucher is bought directly on the website, the €10 of travel costs are added to the price. This is the minimal travel cost. Should the actual travel cost be higher, the client who had purchased the gift voucher will receive an additional invoice to regulate them, unless arranged otherwise.
Should any additional charges arise during the appointment (ex. car parking fees, appointment extension, etc), the client who had purchased the gift voucher will receive an additional invoice to regulate them, unless arranged otherwise.
Gift vouchers may only be exchanged for other services of similar value or higher, in case of which, the price difference must be paid before the appointment. No cancellation and refund are possible.

BELONGINGS
Clients are responsible for their belongings during the course of an appointment. BOAQUARIUS does not accept responsibility for any lost property during the course of any style appointment.

RELATIONSHIPS WITH STORES
BOAQUARIUS does not act as an agent for any of the stores to which we may introduce you or accompany you for shopping. Contracts for the purchase of goods are between you and the relevant store and the terms and conditions of sale and requirements regarding price, returns, defects and all other issues will be such as the store may impose or as you may agree with the store. BOAQUARIUS has no liability for the quality, condition or performance of any goods which you may purchase during, or as a result of, the provision of the services by the BOAQUARIUS.

ONGOING SUPPORT
Once your personal styling session is over, should you have any questions in the 2 weeks after, call or text between 9am and 6pm Monday - Friday, but please limit these calls to 5-10 minutes each. Please note that Bo can only advise on items that she has seen either in your wardrobe or that you have purchased during the personal shopping in person or online.  Bo will strive to get back to you within 24 hours.
Should you require additional style advice or shopping support after the 2 weeks, please contact Bo to book an appointment.

PRIVACY
We take your privacy very seriously at BOAQUARIUS and will never share your details with any third parties. By booking an appointment, filling the questionnaire, or entering a giveaway organized by BOAQUARIUS, you will automatically opt into Bo's newsletter with the option to opt-out later.

COVID-19
If required due to quarantine, appointments can be rescheduled with at least 1 week's notice. Bo will contact you 2 days prior to the appointment to conduct a brief health check to make sure all is well with both of you. All safety precautions under government guidelines are taken and we ask that windows are opened during appointments at your home.

BOAQUARIUS reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time by posting revisions on this page.
